Las Vegas, Nev.
– Nov. 6, 2013 – Twenty-four students from the William F. Harrah College of
Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV),
are
serving as interpreters during the 2013 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo
(AAPEX). The students are on hand to assist attendees and exhibitors with Cantonese, Mandarin, Teochew, Korean,
Taiwanese, Japanese, French, Spanish and Portuguese. AAPEX opened
Tuesday, Nov. 5 and runs through Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Sands Expo Center in
Las Vegas.
AAPEX
draws attendees and exhibitors from around the world, and in 2012, more than
130 countries were represented at the event. In addition to the UNLV student
interpreters, AAPEX provides an International Buyer Center for visitors and
official buying delegations, complete with translators, staff to answer
questions and private meeting rooms.
The 2013 AAPEX features nearly 2,400 exhibitors,
5,000 booths and a Learning Forum with approximately 40 complimentary education
sessions on the latest industry trends and technologies. The event also
includes a designated Remanufacturing Section, a Tool and Equipment Section and
the International Heat Transfer Association (NARSA) Heat
Transfer and Mobile AC Pavilion. Attendees who take advantage of all the
resources at this year’s event will grow their business at AAPEX.
